What It Does
The Character Interviewer lets you have a live conversation with any character from your book. The AI stays fully in character - using their voice, their knowledge, and their emotional register - grounded in your manuscript and saved character profiles.
It's the fastest way to break through a character block: probe motivations, test how they'd react to a scene you haven't written, hunt for their voice, or ask the question they'd refuse to answer (their dodge is often the best material). Save transcripts to history for reference while drafting.
How to Use It
Choose Project & Character
Pick your book and type the character's name. Persona notes let you pin the interview to a moment in the story ("as of Chapter 10, before the betrayal").
Ask Real Questions
Push past surface questions. "What would you never admit?" and "What do you think of the protagonist?" produce gold.
Save the Transcript
Hit "Save Transcript" to keep the interview in your tool history - great voice reference for later chapters.
Estimated Credit Usage
Unlike the analysis tools, this charges per message rather than per run.
